Hi, I’m Katie!

I have a passion for everything related to food: cooking, baking, confectionery, and everything in between. Ever since I can remember, I have always had a sweet tooth. A few years ago, I wanted to give my desserts an extra “edge” and make them more rich and flavorful. I thought, “What if I can make the chocolate in house?” That was the start of my chocolate making journey.

Over the years, I have spent countless hours researching, learning, experimenting, growing, and refining my chocolate making approach and creations. I have found there is so much beauty in both the process and results of making chocolate. It is both art and science, and it can appeal to anyone. Whether your mindset is creative, logical, or somewhere in between, chocolate can be an engaging, intellectual, and emotional experience.

My goal is to share the beauty of chocolate and its possibilities with everyone while highlighting the natural flavors of cocoa from different regions of the world. I enjoy the simplicity of plain chocolate bars, making traditional fillings such as caramel or nut butters, and coming up with creative and unorthodox fillings to pair with a chocolate that has complimentary natural flavors. Even after years of honing in on my chocolate recipes, I still enjoy experimenting with new flavors and approaches. The world has so many flavors, and it is fun and exciting to explore the possibilities.
